Will Bartsch is originally from southern Minnesota. He is a water resources scientist who works to keep the depths of Lake Superior protected and clean. But his real passion lies in working with wood. He grew up learning the trade from his father and enjoys passing the long Minnesota winters designing and building in The Wood Table shop located in Duluth.

Dave Bartsch, Will’s father, is responsible for instilling an appreciation for woodworking. He handed down time-honored skills needed to create quality pieces that last for generations. An expert in woodworking, with nearly 40 years of experience, he has created everything from kitchen cabinets, dining sets, furniture, to smaller house hold items. His shop is located just south of Mankato.
